Verdict

The top pair have a class advantage in this nursery with Richard Fahey's BLAZE OF THUNDER preferred. Stepping back up to six furlongs will suit our pick who had no chance with a potentially Group-class animal at York and providing conditions don't deteriorate to extreme levels our confidence would be high. Alaskan Spirit was coltish in the preliminaries before making a winning debut and clearly has ability but he was keen last time and that could be a problem. Damascus Symphony will go on the ground but shapes as though in need of further, Roodee Queen is exposed and her form has levelled out while Finn's Rainbow needs to improve. Mirror Lad started life in the Brocklesby and was well backed for that so remains of interest however Blaze Of Thunder looks the one to be on.
