In depth

Verdict

Given the majority of these are exposed and not in particularly good form, ALIVE AND KICKING may well find enough improvement to follow up his recent win at Catterick. Crimson Knot showed a bit more on her return and has slipped a further 2lb down the weights while Wolverhampton plating winner Khandaq can race off a lower mark back on this surface, though his recent form in handicaps is abysmal. Henry Morgan ended last season with victory at Redcar and could prove a threat on his reappearance but Brave Dream is better on fast ground and may struggle again.
