Brigadore looks to hold all the aces in this handicap and is preferred to Franksalot and Cross of Lorraine. The selection won what was arguably a better race than this at Pontefract last time when getting the better of Melachrist. He looks to have everything in his favour again today and he should be capable of following-up from a good draw. Franksalot has not been done any favours by the draw but he won well last time when beating Charlie Bear. He is dropped in trip today and although he has won over 6f in the past, he is probably better over an extra furlong. Cross Of Lorraine returns to 6f and his sole win came over this trip and he is relatively unexposed so he should not be dismissed too lightly. Charles Parnell is hard to fancy from his low draw and we will return to Brigadore who has strong claims and can lead them home.
