Parisiac, close up on three of his four starts this season, came good in convincing fashion when a decisive Lingfield scorer last month. This is his trip and he ran well under the forecast conditions three starts back. He should prove competitive but a 7lb rise could just prove too much. The likes of Westmorian and Water Of Leith continue to be in the mix but the feeling is that the assessor may have their measure at present, although both should be there or thereabouts. Iris Dancer is a solid and consistent mare for the Davidson team and is one of two course and distance winners on show. She should be involved but SLAINTE MHATH is just preferred. Well beaten on the all-weather last time, Katie Scott's charge had previously been on an upward curve on turf and will relish the return to the grass.
