Verdict

DANCING MOUNTAIN was winning off a higher mark last year and is getting closer for Roger Fell’s yard as he slides down the weights. Placed in a tougher sprint at Ripon last time, he gets the vote ahead of I'll Be Good. The latter was beaten less than a length at Redcar recently while Popping Corks was placed at Musselburgh on a couple of occasions before unseating at Carlisle on her latest start. Funkadelic went close over track and trip in between poor efforts elsewhere while Gunnabedun and Red Stripes have both been winning on the all-weather this year though neither has won on Turf before.
