    Verdict

Jabbaar is running well on the ground and only just failed to overcome a 6lb rise for his Chester victory when failing by a neck to concede Theglasgowarrior 12lb over slightly shorter here. Irish raider John Honeyman easily won a Class 6 handicap at Ayr in May and has been going well subsequently, though he's 11lb higher now. Donnachies Girl won four times last year and shot up the weights as a consequence. She's been struggling from her new mark so the vote goes to ELEGIAC. A winner at Newcastle in November on just his second start, he was unlucky at Wolverhampton on his comeback before making his handicap debut at Royal Ascot where he was by no means disgraced. Kensington Star is versatile but looks a few pounds high.
