In depth

Verdict

After a couple of outings on the all-weather GOBAMA will be suited by this return to turf. She won twice last year, but ran even better when going close at Newbury and York off higher marks later in the season. John Hills' filly makes plenty of appeal in this company and gets the nod. Askaud has claims judged on her second at Goodwood last month, but Amethyst Dawn is best with some cut and Granny McPhee needs further. She's A Character is just that and too inconsistent to have much faith in.
