      Verdict

      As you would expect, a tight heat, with the vote going to Tanzanite ahead of Futoo, Mobane Flyer and First Fought. The selection has proven consistent of late, and her run behind South O'The Border at Newmarket last time confirmed that she remains in good heart. As such, she has form enough to be granted serious consideration today. Futoo has run well here in the past, as he did when sixth over course and distance two runs ago. He might go well, while Mobane Flyer is proving consistent, if a little hard to actually win with. Rare Coincidence is least favoured by today's weights, and Tetragon needs to turn the clock back to his course and distance winning form of two years ago to feature. Finally, it is hard to quantify First Fought's second to the decent Stronghold in a Haydock maiden last time, although that did seem to be an improved run. However, overall, we like the profile of Tanzanite, who gets the vote.
