      JACKHAMMER was beaten only a short-head at Ayr on his first outing since last summer. He looks capable of scoring off his current mark on that evidence and can return to winning ways. Wild Hope will also be sharper for a third at Newcastle but Howzer Black drops back down in trip after going close over 1m2f at Ayr. Delph Crescent can figure and Arch Moon is not baldy treated on last year’s winning form.
