In depth

Verdict

Ben Lilly has been winning over longer trips and is raised 5lb after scoring over 2m at Doncaster. Great Esteem won at Lingfield in March but was beaten off today’s higher mark last time and MORISCO (NAP) is preferred. The latter has slipped back down the weights since winning at Newbury last summer and will be sharper for last month’s comeback fourth at Thirsk when ahead of The Trader. The latter is one of three Mark Johnston runners with Hochfeld penalised for winning at Nottingham and Notation dropping down in class.
