    Verdict

This is not the strongest of contests and it is hard to get away from HAVEN'T A CLUE, who has plenty in hand on official BHA ratings and Sir Mark Prescott's filly gets the verdict ahead of Digit and Little Tokyo. The last mentioned has only had the four outings and may be open to improvement but Howard Johnson's gelding needs to improve to trouble the selection judged by his latest effort when well held on his handicap debut at Newcastle. Ed McMahon's Scenic Pass has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated but still makes more appeal than Royal Premium, who ran his best race so far when a well beaten second in an Ayr handicap off a mark of just 50 last week. Bryan Smart's Digit was not disgraced in a seller at Catterick last month and has a rating of 65 so she has to be considered but they all have it to do to beat Haven't A Clue. Sir Mark Prescott's filly has earned a rating of 84 and while that may be higher than it should be, she has easily the best form and is hard to oppose.
