Naomh Geileis has been well held in all three starts this year and Mark Johnston's colt may do better now back on turf for the first time since October but a safer option looks to be RESOUNDING GLORY, who gets the vote over Shy Glance. Peter Monteith's gelding only won narrowly at Ayr last time but a 2lb rise for that leaves him on a fair mark so he has to be respected. John Quinn's Hippolytus was good value for his win at Haydock two starts ago but disappointed off his new mark at Nottingham last month and now looks best watched, while Goodbye Mr Bond has shown little sign of encouragement this term and is hard to recommend. Ian Semple's Doon Haymer won well enough over course and distance last month but a 5lb rise for that success makes this tougher and a better bet looks to be Resounding Glory. Richard Fahey's gelding has not been seen on the flat since September but has been running well over hurdles in the interim and, if able to reproduce the form that he has shown over timber, the four-year-old may be too good for his rivals today.
