In depth

Verdict

Sun Catcher is given the vote to land the finale after a recent victory at Southwell where front running tactics and cheek pieces appeared to work the oracle. It remains to be seen whether those cheek pieces will have the same effect today. An outside draw is also a negative but he is the form pick. Surwaki is well-handicapped based on his old form and there was some promise to be gained from his recent efforts. Winning Show is another that commands respect and should be able to win off his current mark. Wisdom's Kiss represents an inform yard and is without doubt well treated even under the 6lb penalty while at bigger prices The Wily Woodcock could be the each way value in the race. Sun Catcher is selected in a wide open finale.
