Tasheba has been running well this season without success but is taken to win this time out at the expense of Ultimate Quest and Maximus Aurelius. The selection managed to win at his last attempt as a two year old last season and has run with credit on all three outing this season also. He ran a personal best when third of thirteen in a Newbury handicap and if able to reproduce that same level of form he ought to go close. Ultimate Quest is trained by Sir Mark Prescott and it goes without saying that his first three runs on the all weather during the winter have all been over an inadequate trip of seven furlongs. Now in a first time handicap and running over a mile further with a rating of just 58 he has to be taken seriously so is one to note in the betting market. As is Maximus Aurelius who has run well on a number of occasions this season and could well be another horse to benefit for the step up in trip. But for the winner we return to Tasheba.
