CATAMARCA is suggested ahead of Lilly Blue and Mootriba. Wake Me Now has some fair form to her name but she already looks in need of a trip and may fare better once handicapping following this run. The trip should pose no problems for the well bred selection who is a daughter of Seeking The Gold and nor should the surface. Few trainers have their strings in as good order as John Gosden at present and the fact that Jimmy Fortune prefers her to Hometown who has the benefit of an outing under her belt looks significant. Lilly Blue was pitched into Listed company for her second start and wasn't disgraced albeit coming home in last place and she ran respectable in a Haydock maiden over this trip last time. A race should come her way but she's nothing out of the ordinary. That remark also applies to Mootriba but she made a fairly encouraging debut at Kempton where she was notably green for a jockey who was having just his third ride in public. Having Richard Hills aboard today should be a positive whilst Willie Haggas has scored with five of his nineteen runners at the venue; so we expect her to go well but think she may have to play second fiddle to Catamarca.
