In the feature race of the evening Goldophin are well represented by two runners with EDDIE JOCK the best of the duo ahead of Igor Protti with Clive Brittain's Yahab also in with a shout. The selection was last seen when finishing seventh in the Group Three Nayef Joel Stakes at Newmarket and returns to the venue, which saw the four-year-old easily land a similar contest in September. A consistent performer at this level and higher he should prove too classy to beat here. Godolphin's second string tries his luck in the UK for only the second time after winning conditions and Handicap races in Italy and Dubai. He had a good debut here in good company two runs ago and he could certainly trouble his stable mate. Yahab for Clive Brittain's yard comes into this race off the back of a victory over a mile and two furlongs. There should be no problems with the step back in trip here and after attempts at Group and Listed contests this may be the colt's level but its Eddie Jock who gets the nod.
