In this pretty poor contest PEGASUS DANCER is the most attractive with Yungaburra and Mafaheem also considered. A course win is sandwiched between two fourths for our selection and in his last run Kevin Ryan's charge ran with plenty of credit after getting involved in a battle for the lead and running on well. If he can get to the front a bit easier this time he'll be extremely hard to pass. Yungaburra is the highest rated of this lot but was a long way off the pace in his last visit to a racecourse when one from last place. The winner of that contest at Catterick went on to place again so it suggests it was a decent contest and the trip may have been too far for him. He steps back to a trip he won over back in September and he should be respected. Mafaheem has eight wins in his 32 race career but more recently has struggled to make an impact. A third place at Wolverhampton two runs ago is the best the six-year-old has managed this side of August but a return to a little form and he'll feature. In reality the majority of the field could stake a claim but Pegasus Dancer just gets the verdict.
