In depth

Verdict

TIMELESS DREAM should provide a winner for Jamie Spencer here and is preferred to Miss Honeybell and Granny McPhee. The pick showed much more than on her debut when shaping much better in a similar contest at Redcar last time. The drop to this trip in that last attempt certainly seemed to suit and the polytrack shouldn't provide any obstacle to her chances. Miss Honeybell, like the selection, has hinted at some ability in her five starts on turf so far. The form from her average effort in the Windsor Stakes, in June, has thrown up plenty of winners and she looked promising on her latest run at Yarmouth. It's a step into the unknown as far as the trip is concerned and it's not entirely clear that she'll stay. Granny McPhee drops down to six furlongs after some creditable efforts over seven recently. She'll have a chance on that form but the surface might be against her while any market support of Little Calla should be noted. The selection though goes to Timeless Dream.
