In depth

Verdict

Countess Constance looks the better of Jim Bolger's pair as she hated the heavy going at Sligo and is much better than that. She receives a 6lb maiden allowance from the three winners and can go close. ROCA ROJO went to Killarney and attracted a bit of support which was entirely justified when she absolutely bolted up in a strongly-run contest. She still looked as though the experience would do her good and she'll be very difficult to beat. Shahzeena started odds-on for her debut at Cork and her supporters never had much concern. She couldn't handle Group 3 class next time but ran well for a long way and this is more like her grade. Urbestchance was a 20/1 chance on her debut in heavy ground over 6f at the Curragh but defied the odds with a battling performance where she ran on strongly to lead close home.
