    Verdict

Bowerman, three times an all-weather winner for Roger Varian, made a solid start for new connections at Naas and wasn't disgraced in Listed company at Killarney. The lightly-raced Breaking Story beat a huge field on his debut at the Curragh last August but hasn't fulfilled potential and returns after a long break. MIA MARIA finished third behind Pink Dogwood in the opening race on this card a year ago then made a successful return at the Curragh in July. She performed with credit in Group 3 company on a return visit and looks the one to beat. Stormy Belle won here in April and will enjoy the conditions but has a bit to find.
