It wasn't much of a bumper that PRIMROSEANDBLUE won here last month but he's obviously progressing and, as his dam is from the family of Viking Flagship, he's bred for this job and has been found a reasonably simple opportunity on his hurdling debut. Inish Island won a Clonmel bumper last month and made a reasonable start over timber at Limerick where the slow pace looked against him. He looks the best of those with experience over hurdles though Breaking Bits showed potential behind Folsom Blue at Limerick and the winner has since scored in better company. Winning point-to-pointer Alf Wright will probably need further.
