John Oxx won this last year and is triple-handed in this first division. It's impossible to dismiss any of them though the newcomer Call To Battle has a superb middle-distance pedigree and is one to watch. Aidan O'Brien had plenty of entries and relies on the stoutly-bred Noah Webster, who should do better next year, but Dermot Weld's Teofilio filly Voleuse De Coeurs should have the pace for this and is one to keep an eye on in the betting. Rigoletta will certainly come in for support as she's been showing up very well in strong company and will be difficult to keep out of the frame but it's the once-raced OPTIMIST, who caught the eye behind Imperial Monarch at the Curragh a fortnight ago, who gets the vote in an open contest.
