PARISIAN (NAP) had shown little in four starts with Ralph Beckett before looking a different prospect altogether when upped in trip to score cosily Kempton. He's since moved to Edward O'Grady and looks on a tempting handicap mark - connections presumably mean business with Heffernan booked. He may still be a step ahead of the handicapper and is preferred to Dance Emperor in receipt of 9lb. The latter remains a maiden but recent efforts have been commendable, notably a close third in a strong Curragh handicap latest. He does seem to have improved for a gelding operation and is likely to get his head in front sooner or later. Birth Of Venus is a lightly-raced improver on a useful mark and Wishing Star is another open to progress in an interesting contest.
