Amerijano made a promising start behind the smart Felix Desjy at Galway and will be much better suited by this longer trip. Winning bumper VOIX DES TIEP couldn't quite peg back stable companion Small Farm over this trip at Limerick but the winner was receiving 13lb so it looked a good effort. He should improve enough to take this though The Big Dog will be a tough opponent judged on his cracking effort behind Castlebawn West at Leopardstown where he had the remainder well beaten. Rakhine State should be at his peak after two runs following a long break while Kallum River found 3m stretching his stamina at Fairyhouse having done better over this trip earlier. Jeremys Dream is a progressive mare who was staying on over this trip at Fairyhouse and the softer ground should bring her stamina into play.
