      Verdict

      Unconquerable and Hadman have similar levels of form with the former just preferred on his second to the impressive Port Lonsdale at the Curragh, though the latter's third behind Dr Zempf on the same card was equally smart. That winner is trained by Ger Lyons, who has ONCE UPON A RIVER engaged here and the close relative on eight winners, including Group 1 winner Halfway To Heaven, is taken to make a successful debut. Minister Of War is a half-brother to two winners while both New York Dreams and Obdurate have excellent pedigrees. New Star will need to improve on what he's shown to date.
