BROKEN SOUL looked one to follow when runner-up to the highly-regarded Melon at Leopardstown but was then beaten at long odds-on at Navan. He stepped up to 2m4f back at Leopardstown on Sunday and was travelling well enough when brought down. Most of today's rivals look as though they want further so Gordon Elliott's charge can gain his first success. Winning point-to-pointer Drumconnor Lad showed potential in bumpers and was still in contention when falling at the last at Naas last month. He looks a real threat if none the worse for that mishap. Castlegrace Paddy is a real staying type who very nearly made most over 2m4f at Fairyhouse in December. It was a surprise to see him back in a bumper next time and this should be much more to his liking. Sizinguptheamazon is another who will be suited by further in time while winning bumper Goaheadmakemyday was well beaten on her hurdling debut.
