HOLD FIRM won off 54 over this track and trip just over a year ago and was back on that mark when scoring under today's rider at Lingfield last month. A quick double looks on the cards though supporters of Randall's Alannah will be looking for compensation after she was disqualified here last month. That would have been her first ever success and she should have the edge on Mowhoob, who was awarded the race. Kafeel has performed badly on both earlier starts on the track and though Tavener is reasonably consistent at this level he's still a maiden on the all-weather after 16 starts.
