A maximum field of moderate handicappers ridden by apprentices doesn't look the best betting medium. Killian Leonard is one of the best young riders in Ireland and his mount ROMANTIC looks the best option as though he went up a massive 11lb for his victory on heavy ground at Bellewstown and was unable to cope next time he ran well enough. Jessamine has been running quite well at Dundalk without quite getting there while Belclare Boy has never won though he's produced some decent efforts on this track. Ask Katie is also a maiden and her last two runs have been over much further but the reserves Royal Blessing and Fairy Flute would have to be considered if getting a run.
