This has been a very good race for three-year-olds and for Dermot Weld, who has two entered from that age group. ADOOL made a very impressive debut at Fairyhouse and was sent into Group 3 company at Leopardstown where she ran very well behind two older and much better supported colts. There should be plenty more to come from the daughter of Teofilo and she can get back to winning ways. Her stable companion Burma Star deserved her first success at Ballinrobe but this is much tougher as it is for Siamsaiocht, who only narrowly beat the handicapper Toccata Blue at Leopardstown. The older fillies are headed by Assume, who was having only her fourth start when beating the in-form Creggs Pipes at this level at Killarney and has more to offer.
