This looks a tight handicap but King Of Oriel has to be given some sort of chance from a mark of 47 having run quite well here last month. Donatis Comet was running poorly over fences when last seen in the autumn but had done well over hurdles previously and can get into the action on ground that will suit. Colla Pier isn't the most straightforward and has won once in 31 starts but at least is consistent and should get into the frame again, though the vote goes to MIDFIELD GENERAL. Jim Bolger's grey made an encouraging reappearance over this track and trip before finding 1m2f at Leopardstown on the short side and, with Daniel Redmond able to use his claim, he can gain his first success.
