Verdict

Calicojack won a maiden hurdle at Down Royal in May and will be better for his chasing debut at Thurles last month though was beaten a long way. Mount Hanover has shown ability over fences but broke a blood vessel at Naas last time so this should rest between DISCORDANTLY, who has twice been in front when falling in-between well beaten in a Grade 2 at Navan, and Flawless Escape, who reverted back to hurdles for a confidence booster last month. Preference is for the former who can hopefully put his jumping problems behind him.
