Ballymacaw won a bumper on good ground then made a promising start over hurdles in similar conditions but has run poorly on more testing going. Champagne Paddy made a successful debut in a Roscommon bumper back in 2017 and ran well for a long way on his debut for new connections in a Punchestown maiden hurdle last month. Glendruid easily won a point last month and should be better for last month's hurdling debut at Naas but ENERGUMENE will be at short odds here and can't be opposed. A winning point-to-pointer, he had a bit in hand when landing a Thurles bumper in January and looks to have been found a simple task to make a successful debut over timber.
