Rebel Early hadn't shown much before attracting support and landing a Clonmel maiden in February under Rachael Blackmore, who retains the partnership. There's probably more to come but Alice Johnston has the more recent form with easily her best run to date when 2l behind Happy Jacky on the same track. LUCKY PHIL (NAP) has yet to win in ten starts over hurdles but has been placed six times. He was a good fourth over fences at Sligo last time and that's probably where his future lies but this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark. The four-year-old Fiveallin has a big weight for his handicap debut and though Sunnyhill Lad hails from a yard in form he hasn't done enough to warrant consideration.
