Benemeade was taking on a potentially-useful rival when runner-up to Security Breach at Listowel then didn't get far before unseating Paul Carberry at Navan. He'll be winning soon as will CLONBANAN LAD, whose close second to Ted Veale at Galway has been boosted by the winner. Henry De Bromhead's charge is probably still progressing and though facing decent opposition can go one better. Riverside City has done well over timber but has always looked more likely to be a chaser so he's definitely one to keep an eye on as is Aidan O'Brien's Shield, three times a winner over hurdles on quick ground this summer though facing a stiff task on his chasing bow.
