BASHIYR had no answer to the more experienced Metier over the track and trip last month but he was staying on nicely and normal progress can see him go one better as he should again take care of third-placed Canning. Calonne attracted support at Killarney and, though never threatening stayed on nicely over that mile, looks certain to get into contention. Royal Highness was a bit disappointing on soft ground at Roscommon so wouldn't want more rain but Landing Zone would probably enjoy testing conditions. Miss Clash has a nice pedigree and is one to note in the market.
