Verdict
Stand Staunch, brought down at the first on his hurdling bow at Roscommon, chased home the impressive odds-on Feigh at Killarney and, though never getting close, looks certain to run into a place. But the winner's yard is represented by LOUGHISLE LADY, the 10th foal of a mare who has produced eight winners on the Flat and over hurdles, so she's handed the vote to make a winning start. White Pepper landed a Tramore maiden over 1m4f in August and was sent to Goodwood for a Group 3 but was well beaten. She can go well with her allowance while Iberique Du Seuil was beaten a short-head on the level at Vichy in August and has joined Gordon Elliott. He has a fine jumping pedigree and is one to keep an eye on.
