In depth

Verdict

CHAMPERS ELYSEES scored on heavy ground at the Curragh last September and on her return from a long absence on fast going there in June. She then won a Galway Listed contest by seven lengths and can continue her progress in this better contest. She has plenty in hand on official ratings with hat-trick seeking Pearls Galore, stepping out of handicap company after two impressive victories, next best 8lb behind. Soul Search was placed in this grade at Cork before two narrow defeats at Listed level while Rocket Science is on the upgrade and will enjoy the conditions. Archie Watson sends Parent's Prayer from the UK and the daughter of Kingman impressed in an Ayr maiden, though this is much tougher.
