Verdict

Arrycan had Na Caith Tobac just over three lengths behind when scoring at Kilbeggan and should have no problems confirming the form on these terms. The latter was engaged in the 5.05 here yesterday but PAIRC NA NGAEL (NAP) looks the one to beat. Charles Byrnes' charge was always travelling like a winner at Kilbeggan and a 6lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. Galon De Vauzelle has been racing over timber and was a long way behind when last seen over fences in March while potential punters would need to forgive Optical Confusion a poor run at Tipperary in July.
