A couple of these are due a rise in the weights having looked unlucky last time. Power Over Me weighed-in light after passing the post first at Epsom and was disqualified while Music Society was narrowly beaten at York a week ago. The latter’s stablemate Staxton races on the opposite side of the draw with William Buick on board but it could pay to stick with the progressive FIRST FOLIO. The latter has won two of three outings since arriving from France and doesn’t look to have stopped improving yet. James Ferguson’s new charge had subsequent Ascot winner Bickerstaffe behind when winning at York last time and has the beating of Royal Scimitar on collateral form. Treacherous is only 4lb higher than when winning this last year with The Lamplighter back in third while the consistent Mr Wagyu could go well again and Abduction is preferred of the four Fahey runners.
