In depth

Verdict

Humidor won four times last year and should be approaching peak fitness now after a couple of runs. Captain Carey has been eased a little in the weights since finishing third to Noble Storm at Newbury on his reappearance while it would be no surprise to see Kanaf rediscover his best form back over the minimum. Bertoliver should strip fitter for his run at Epsom but it may be worth sticking with Musselburgh winner MON BRAV, despite his penalty. He still doesn't look badly treated and beat recent Wolverhampton winner Magical Macey at Thirsk in August.
