Verdict

Ralph Beckett won this last year with a newcomer so Devoted needs a look in the market, but our preference is for LEVANTERA. Clive Cox's charge showed much more on her second start, in the process suggesting this step up to a mile would suit, and as she's out of a Night Shift mare soft ground should also be to her liking. Piccarello arguably sets the standard on his first two runs but has since disappointed and conditions here represent a real concern, so more of a threat is Mountain Range who shaped with promise on his debut and in keeping with most from the yard should leave that run behind, especially with a greater emphasis on stamina set to suit. Sir Rocky drops in grade and rates the pick of the Hannon pair ahead of Strictly Rhythm while Tourmaline is a cheap purchase who is best watched unless strongly supported in the market.
