      Verdict

Half-a-dozen of these are course and distance winners with ORBAAN having won over 6f last month and over this trip at Ascot a week later. David O'Meara's charge didn't get the run of the race on his hat-trick bid in a valuable handicap at York and can make amends. Lyndon B had been threatening to win for some time before a smooth victory here last month for which he's 5lb higher in this better race. The lightly-raced Tacarib Bay showed his liking for soft ground at Haydock before an excellent run over a mile at Ascot and is still progressing while I'm A Gambler gained a surprise victory on fast going here last month. The 13-times winner Safe Voyage hasn't been at his best but has dropped to his lowest mark since 2018 as a consequence so could go well at a price.
