Verdict

The Crisfords complicate matters here with two of the five entries. Jadoomi looks the best of the duo having returned from a long break to land a Listed contest on good to soft in France last month as Finest Sound makes a quick reappearance after a fine effort in a Group 3 at York last week when just failing to hold off Alflaila over an extra furlong. Escobar deserves another crack at this level after a head defeat by stable companion Blue For You in a major handicap on the Knavesmire last week. Stormy Antarctic had Jadoomi behind when runner-up in Listed company at Newmarket in October so isn't out of this but the vote goes to MUTASAABEQ, whose latest run in the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot was his best to date and he should appreciate the easier going.
