Platitude clearly didn’t give his true running in a Group 3 here last month and finished behind outsider Goldmember. He should reverse that form today, though does have questions to answer. A similar comment applies to Mr Singh after two below-par runs this term and Vive Ma Fille is on the cusp of becoming disappointing. Glaring was a Group 2 performer in France but hasn't shown the same zest since joining Amanda Perrett. SWEEPING UP is very consistent in this grade and deserves a change of luck. Second over course and distance and at Haydock in May, she has come up against improving fillies in her last two – none of today's rivals have a particularly progressive profile.
