The top three all ran in the Hungerford at Newbury eight days ago. Dream Of Dreams fared best but less than a length separated Sir Michael Stoute’s four-year-old, Breton Rock and Dutch Connection. RAID was a close-up fourth in the Greenham over this trip on his reappearance and in among top-class milers when eighth subsequently in the 2000 Guineas, when he didn’t get the clearest of runs. He’s been off the track since but is still a colt of some potential. Dancing Star had no luck at all in a fillies’ Group 3 here earlier in the month and was the moral winner. She acts on the track so is respected while Anna Nerium has been highly tried since winning the European Free Handicap in April.
