A high-class two-year-old, STRONG SUIT is beginning to fulfil his potential after undergoing a successful breathing operation. He went very close to landing the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat over a mile at Chantilly last month and had ran out a cosy winner of the Jersey Stakes over today's trip at Ascot before that. Richard Hannon's colt has not finished improving yet and is the one to beat here. The admirable Red Jazz should be in the mix as this is arguably his best trip and he beat Delegator over 7f at Newmarket in October last year. The Godolphin colt won a Group 2 at York when dropped back to 6f in May and finished just behind fourth-placed Libranno in the July Cup last time. The latter had earlier beaten Beacon Lodge over today's trip, while Balthazaar's Gift ran well in this last year and stood little chance in the Lockinge on his only start so far this season.
