Venerable, Noticeable and Record Breaker all hold claims here but we will give the confident vote to Venerable. The selection was an impressive winner last time out when he showed battling qualities to get the better of his stablemate Shavansky. He was heavily-backed that day and with the promise of more to come from this lightly-raced 3-year-old he looks the one to beat. Noticeable also won well last time when beating Snake's Head but that rival has since been beaten, although she did run well in defeat. Record Breaker ran green but still did enough to beat Emerald Wilderness last time and with more to come from him he is entitled to run a big race. Fort Amhurst won well at Windsor last time and he is another that has to enter calculations. However, we are happy to stick with Venerable as our idea of the winner.
