Maria Montez showed good speed on her return at Windsor and would have been much closer but for being struck on the head in the final furlong. She should go well while Chevise is well handicapped on Turf due to all of her seven career victories coming on the all-weather. But Gaelic Wizard was beaten in a seller last time while Sister Guru followed her victory at Lingfield in January with a moderate effort at Kempton last month. Commandingpresence is poorly handicapped on Turf compared to her all-weather rating but EMIRATESDOTCOM, who finished in front of New Decade last time, has now dropped to a mark he looks capable of winning from and has one of the more experienced pilots on board so he's handed the vote.
