    Verdict

Related to the Group 1 winners Passage Of Time and Timepiece among others, CONTINUUM was only beaten a head on his belated debut at Leicester. He has to give weight to the younger horses in this but has plenty of scope and his yard has won two of the last three renewals. Royal Signaller also has claims on his placed efforts at Kempton though a bigger danger could come from Sleeping Giant, who will have improved for his introductory fourth at Chepstow. A half-brother to stablemate and high-class stayer Brown Panther, Bomber Thorn makes more appeal on his debut than fellow newcomer Sorn.
