DHAAMER gets the call in a competitive looking race. He is in good, progressive form and with his weight-for-age allowance he can land a hat-trick. Ryan Moore has a 22% record when combining with Jeremy Noseda this season and the pedigree of Alfonso The Wise would suggest the step-up in trip should suit. Baltimore Clipper is up 7lb in the ratings since he last won at Thirsk in July and he will need to have come on in the intervening period to challenge. North Cape is in decent nick, handles the trip and ground but Henry Candy is 0-7 here this year. Kings Troop may be the biggest danger and has to be respected after a dominating performance at Epsom, but faces a 7lb rise for that success whilst Lethal Glaze still looks a little high in the weights and will need to find assistance from first time blinkers.
